Amasar la masa con un poco se agua.
Cortar en chicharrón en pedacitos pequeños. - Primero licuamos los frijoles con la hoja de Hierva Santa.
- Con la masa haremos bolitas de un mismo tamaño (no muy pequeñas).
- En una prensa pondremos las bolitas y las aplastaremos tratando de que no queden muy delgadas.
- Ahora con ayuda de una cuchara extenderemos el frijol molido por toda la tortilla sin ponerle en exceso.
- Ahora doblaremos en 3 lados a modo de que nos quede un triángulo (debemos doblar bien las esquinas para que no se salga el frijol).
- En un comal (de preferencia de barro) pondremos las tetelas ya formadas para que se empiece a cocer la masa de ambos lados muy bien.
- Ya listas para poder servir, con ayuda de un cuchillo abrimos uno de sus lados.
- Rellenamos primeramente con el chicharrón, queso y la crema.

Se pueden acompañar muy bien con una salsa de molcajete, salsa borracha o salsa de huajes.
